We are the Milwaukee chapter of Ikebana International, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the art of Japanese flower arrangement. We aim to foster friendship and cultural understanding through flowers. Our chapter is actively involved in various exhibitions and events, including participating in the Wisconsin State Fair.

Our mission is to stimulate, cultivate and perpetuate the study of Ikebana and related arts and culture throughout the world. We focus on learning about the different schools of Ikebana design and to foster “Friendship through Flowers”.

Our members express their creativity through Ikebana arrangements using containers, plant materials, and nature-inspired themes. By sharing our passion for Ikebana, our organization seeks to build connections and community with our members and beyond.

Ikebana International is a global nonprofit organization with 143 chapters and 7,000 members across 50 countries, promoting the art of Japanese flower arrangement. The organization has various schools or styles including Ikenobo, Sogetsu, and Ohara.
